Description
‘Fragments of what I have experienced’ series is a continuation of the first ‘all the people I have met’ Series. Both series are a collection of paintings and sculptures, that were created, based on sketches and photos taken during time spent in different parts of Africa. The artworks show people captured while resting, relaxing, working, and during social interactions. It forms fragments of the daily life I experienced while living and working with different local communities in the African continent. With this series, I want to reflect on the serenity, peace, and respect I experienced. The artwork is an original oil painting on cardboard and ready to hang up on the wall. An authenticity certificate is included.
