It may happen that you want to return an order. Perhaps because you do not like the product or perhaps there is another reason why you would not want the order. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after receipt without giving any reason.
After cancellation, you have another 30 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for return from your home to the artist are for your account. Because the shipped products are works of art, we only accept registered shipments. Works above €500 must be sent insured. The prices of these shipments vary according to the size, weight of the works, and the shipping company. It’s up to you which shipping company you choose.
If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product has to be returned to the artist undamaged, with all accessories supplied, in its original condition and – if reasonably possible – packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at email@example.com. We will let you know the address of the artist where you can send it to. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after registration of your return, provided that the product has already been returned in good order.
If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than is necessary to try the product, we can pass on this depreciation of the product to you. So treat the product with care and make sure that it is well packaged when returning.
If you picked up your work because it’s bigger than 176x78x58cm or weighs more than 23kg, you also have to bring back the work personally. This because a package of this size and weight can not be sent out ensured.
Do you want to exchange your product? That’s no problem at all. You can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for this. You do, however, bear the shipping costs for returning the product.

Delivery time & shipping costs
Uit Het Gareel aims to deliver works within seven workdays after purchase. The artists personally send out each order. A purchased work can also be picked up at the Uit Het Gareel office or the artist’s studio. The advantage of picking up the work yourself is that you can cancel your order on the spot, in case you don’t like it and you do not have to pay shipping costs. Plus, you get a free meet and greet with the artist that created the work. The stated prices do not include shipping costs. Because we only send out registered packages and for works above €500,- insured packages the shipping costs are:
